Alabama Annual Arts and Crafts Fair

Vibrant and livable Southern city is what Fairhope is usual describe by local residents and tourist. Fairhope is located high up the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay. It has lovely parks rich with live oaks and a beautiful view of the Mobile Bay. Local residents and the tourist enjoy taking their dinner and taking a stroll around the Fairhope downtown.

Enjoy the beginning of spring by joining the 57th annual Arts and Crafts Festival at Fairhope which is sponsored by the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce. The festival will start on March 20, 21 and 22 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. There is no admission fee to enjoy the festival.

This craft show or fair will be attended by 200 craft makers like your self. It is juried craft show, so your work will be judged by the juries. There will be live entertainment all through out the three day event. You will get to enjoy the regional unique and traditional cuisines for sale. On the previous year the craft show was attended by 250,000 visitors and this year it is expected to also be around the same amount of people attending the craft show.

On March 21 and 22 at the K-1 Center there will also be the 57th Annual Model Train Show. Let the kid in you enjoy your dream coming true of buying different types of train, trains that will be sold by around 80 designers and makers. Or you can attend a talk about the dangers of gambling ones life just to cross the railroad.

A shuttle service to and from the Plantation Pointe Shopping Center, Eastern Shore Village Shopping Center and Ecor Rouge Place is offered by BRATS (Baldwin County Area Transportation System) . You will not have a problem will the parking fee because the parking fee is free and it is a five-minute ride from one location to another. - 16890
