You Think Man Made Chemicals Are Harmful? The EPA Ruled They Are.

A major cause of climate change is the harm that is done to the Earth by man-made chemicals. Whilst chemicals, such as those used to produce day by day items, operate equipment and generally make life easier, are necessary, they present a threat to the environment. Governments around the world have set new regulations to limit the use of substances that contribute to global warming and deplete the ozone layer.

Refrigerant gas is a major cause of climate change. As this gas is used to run air-conditioning systems, run commercial refrigeration units and HVAC systems, it represents a very common emission. The gas is composed of hydrochlorofluorocarbons and chlorofluorocarbons, which contribute to global warming. The United States and many foreign countries insist that its usage is phased out, with a target date for completion of 2015.

Refrigerant gas used to run commercial refrigeration units, as well as air-conditioning systems and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, is a chief cause of climate change because it is made up of hydrochlorofluorocarbons and chlorofluorocarbons. These gases contribute to global warming and also deteriorate the ozone layer. Because of the great harm refrigerant gas can cause to the Earth, the United States and many international countries are phasing out its usage, with complete removal by 2015.

A natural substance that is discharged by animals such as pigs, cows, sheep and horses is in itself a significant cause of climate change. Methane can also be found around landfills, coal mines and drilling sites and in fertilizers. During a gas leak a large amount of this chemical is discharged at one time.

There are many harmful gases found in the day-to-day equipment that we are so used to, substances which are a root cause of climate change. We do not have to look far for these gases, as they are common in commercial refrigerators, air conditioners, HVAC systems, freezers etc. Targeted gases include fluorine, chlorine, bromine, atomic chlorine, nitric oxide, hydrochlorofluorocarbons and chlorofluorocarbons.

A number of processes and daily household items are being studied to identify measures that would limit their impact on global warming. Aerosols are under study as well as animal agriculture, deforestation, cement manufacturing and land usage -- all considered to be a primary cause of climate change.

There are many common pollutants in our daily society that are a cause of climate change. These include carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, black carbon and methane and their use has caused the Earth's protective layer to become damaged. Scientists predict that without change, global warming will destroy the planet.

Greenhouse gases in the air contribute to atmospheric heat, and this amount of heat stored in the atmosphere is a principal cause of climate change. Significant heat changes in the Earth's climate can affect all forms of life, including animal, plant, human and marine -- all will be severely impacted.

Simply put, too much heat stored in the atmosphere is the cause of climate change. The amount of greenhouse gases in the air contributes to atmospheric heat. Overwhelming heat can create significant changes in the Earth?s climate, affecting both land and ocean. As a result, human, animal, plant and marine life will be severely impacted. - 16890
