Keeping Your Eyes On The Road, And Not The Car Ahead.

By Mr WebbyFied

When we're driving, a majority of us watch the road ahead. We have this crazy habit of looking at the car directly in front of us, and watching to see what they are doing, and how they are driving. Sometimes, we check our mirrors to make sure things are okay all around. Every once in a while, we might even look to either side to get in a lane that we should be in to get where we're going, but we always go back to looking forward.

Sounds a little crazy doesn't it? Why don't we just keep looking to the side, or the view out in the distance, or the pretty lady walking along the street? Why keep looking ahead if we know where we are trying to get to?

Because we'd end up crashing our car.

Oh, so that's the crazy method.

So, if that is so nutty, why do we "drive" like that in our business, and in most other parts of our lives?

Why do we convince ourselves that we'll be able to drive to a goal while looking at (focusing on) everything but our goal? Doesn't that sound a little silly?

When you are looking to your left or right, you are directing yourself in that direction without even realizing it. You start turning towards that telephone pole up ahead, and once you start panicking on not hitting that telephone pole, by only focusing ON that telephone pole, guess what happens?

The only thing you see is the pole. Your problem. You focus on this instead of a solution and you eventually run into it. You didn't hit it because you were a bad "driver" however, but because you couldn't take your eyes off of it.

Sometimes, you're not even that lucky. Sometimes, you just swerve slowly until you end up lost in the middle of nowhere, with no direction, and no gas, asking yourself how this happened.

A lack of focus will take you nowhere more quickly than you can imagine.

Visit us now for our guide on 5 steps to taking action and getting results. It will help you find your destination, and help you keep from crashing.

Until next time. Continue taking the Red Pill, and check us out in the morning. - 16890
