The Apple iPhone 3GS is Apple's latest version of their smartphone, and this time it's been packed with even more features.
Externally, there seems to be absolutely no difference between the 3G and the 3GS, apart from the small writing on the back on the phone. The amazing improvements have all been
made internally.
The first change on the 3GS is the speed; the 412MHz clocked up to 600MHz and the RAM doubled from 128MB to 256MB. There's also a supercharged graphics chip to add to the 3GS. All of this leads to almost double the speed when loading in comparison to the 3G.
The storage space has also been upgraded on the 3GS. There is now a 32GB model available, making it more like a personal media player such as the iPod Touch.
Another of the additions to the 3GS is it's new screen, made to resist finger print marks. Thanks to this, fingerprint marks are greatly reduced and you get better image quality. This is a great feature if you're one
of those people that always gets their hands dirty.
A feature wanted by most iPhone owners around the world, Apple has bumped up the camera to 3-megapixel, and now the 3GS can record video!
The iPhone 3GS is literally jam-packed with features. The 3GS can be a GPS, compass, phone, personal music player, portable video player, email checker and web browser.
Following some recent deals between Apple and mobile phone networks, the iPhone 3GS is available on many networks, such as O2 and Orange. It no longer holds its exclusivity in the UK. With all of these tariffs available, there will be one that's suited to you.
In my opinion, the 3GS is one of the most fe ature-packed smartphones on the global market. On top of that, many of its features are unique, and can't be found on any other phone.
The big question now is whether you should buy the 3GS or not. Even though very highly priced, if you're looking for a smartphone in this price range, the iPhone 3GS is for you. - 16890
