Gem Faire: For the first three weekends on March there will be a Gem Faire at different areas. That is on March 6-8 at Del Mar Fairgrounds, CA, March 13-15 Alameda County Fairgrounds, Pleasanton, CA, March 20-22 South Towne Exposition Center, Salt Lake City, UT
In the past few years Gem Faire had been aiming to make their craft show a community event. That is why all Gem Faire and Bead Faire are open to the public. You can see the different kind of gems and minerals on display and for sale.
If you are interested in making your own jewelry with the gem and minerals available, you can learn how to. The Bead Faire and Gem Faire community event offers classes and demonstrations on how to make jewelries using the gems and minerals.
At a Gem Faire and Bead Faire they offer repair of broken jewelries while you wait. So not only can you buy new jewelries but you can also have your old jewelries fixed. They even offer hourly door prizes, you may just get a free jewelry.
There is also another craft show at Vets Garden at VA, Off Sepulveda Bl at Constitution Avenue on March 5. Festival shows will start from 12 noon to 6pm.
The Brentwood Glen Community Festival has a free admission for the public. They offer crafts for display and are also for sale. For entertainment they offer live music by local musicians under the music tree. There is also a tour around the Parrot Sanctuary that you can visit the rabbit house, have a bite to eat while listening to the free music. - 16890
