What Do SEO And MLM Lead Generation Have To Do With Each Other - Can You Afford Not To Find Out?

The world of search engine optimization (SEO) is growing almost too fast to keep track of. There are always new ways of adding to the popularity of your MLM Lead Generation page and increasing your page ranks.

However, there are several SEO methods that will always be at the core of search engine optimization. That is what we are here to talk about.

This is where your SEO should start: keywords are an indispensable aspect of your search engine optimization efforts. You must understand the concept of keywords, or else you might as well give up on your SEO MLM lead generation dreams right here.

A keyword is simply what people search for when using the search box of a search engine. It can be just one word or any number of words.

Let's take a look at an example: keywords can be as simple as /MLM/ or they can contain many more than just one word, such as /MLM home-based business/. Since the second keyword is really a phrase, it is often referred to as a keyword phrase or a keyphrase. It is absolutely imperative that you start your SEO quest with researching and picking the right keywords and making these keywords a part of your website content.

So, why should you go to such great length looking for the right keywords? Well, simply put, if internet surfers can't find you, you do not exist. Let's say they are looking for information on your MLM opportunity by name, but your website is not optimized for that keyword. In that case, all your potential MLM leads will go to your competitors who actually took their time to master this step.

A word of caution though: don't make the mistake that many internet marketers fall victim to. A common error is choosing keywords that relate to your content without researching how popular or competitive they are. Let me explain this with an example.

If you have a website about work at home business opportunity, it is a bad idea to target the keyword /work at home/. Why? Because it is an incredibly competitive keyword in MLM Home Business industry. A quick search on Google reveals almost 307 million results for that keyword. Do you really think that you will be able to get to the first page of search results? Even the 10th page?

Before you start optimizing for a specific keyword, do your research! Searching Google for the keyword phrase /work at home ideas for moms/ reveals less than 23M results (which is still high, but you see where I am going with this). It will be 3364 times easier to get to the front page of those results, thus quickly increasing your MLM lead generation.

Would you like your website to be on the 214th page of search results for a keyword that is searched for 1000 times each day? Or would you rather be on the second page of search results for a keyword that is searched for 10 times each day?

Let's put theory into practice now: how do we find the right keywords to go for?

The simplest way and a good place to start is to go back to Google and use the search box to see how popular the keywords you came up with are. Again, the lower the number, the better. 300K is a good starting point.
